The only way that either of these trucks can haul that much weight is thanks to their engines. In this case, both the 2019 Ram 1500 and Ram 2500 offers drivers the choice between three engines. Something that we find is always important to drivers when comparing vehicles is the starting price of each model. When it comes to choosing between the Ram 1500 or 2500 in terms of price, the smaller truck comes out ahead, but not by much:
While the new Ram 1500 doesn’t have the power and performance to match the 2500, it does have some additional interior features, amenities, and space. The 2019 Ram 1500 can seat up to six passengers in the base model, whereas the 2500 base-level model only seats up to three. Each model has similar interior features including a six-speaker sound system and park-assist feature, but the 1500 can also be equipped with the optional RamBox Cargo Management System. The 1500 also comes outfitted with standard Bluetooth connectivity in its base-level model, while this is only optional on the 2500.
